For #bellletstalk we talk about the effects of caregiving. I speak about my personal depression and mental illness. Caregiving is challenging and I talk about the importance of self-care and finding a sanctuary. There is no shame in getting help. Martyrdom is overrated. I tried for years to do everything on my own and paid the price.
