Persons with dementia needed for advisory group
Call for Volunteers - Persons with Dementia Advisory Group The Partnerships in Dementia Care (PiDC) Alliance would like to invite persons with dementia to participate in an advisory group to assist with our research project that is seeking to enhance the culture of dementia care in Canada. We know how important it is for everyone involved in the care process to have a positive care experience. We would like to invite you to participate in an advisory group which would meet monthly in-person (in the Kitchener-Waterloo area) or over the phone (free telephone call) to provide feedback on our process, assist us with decision-making, and share information about what persons with dementia might want/need during their journey. This information will be used to inform our culture change process and enhance care for persons with dementia. If you are interested in participating please contact: Sian Lockwood Knowledge Translation Specialist 519-888-4567 ext. 35280 www.uwaterloo.ca/pidc The PiDC Alliance is funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), Community-University Research Alliance (CURA) grant.
