As a social worker, grief specialist and dementia care expert, Eleanor Silverberg assists caregivers to prevent burnout, providing individual self-development coaching and group workshops based on her book, Caregiving with Strength. Her book offers a regimen featuring the 3-A Approach she developed to tap into the caregivers’ grief as a pivotal strength-building resource for personal growth and transformation. The 3-A Approach has been published and presented at prominent conferences including the Alzheimer International Conference and Canadian Association of Gerontology. Eleanor provides instruction on using the 3-A Approach at University of Toronto’s Faculty of Social Work and Institute for Life Course and Aging. She holds a BA in Psychology, Master of Social Work, Certification in Bereavement Education in addition to over 20 years of independent grief study.
